Our story

From our roots to your table

Roasted Root started at our kitchen table, years before we thought about opening a café. When one of our twin sons faced serious health challenges, we began looking hard at what we were eating. We cut out processed foods, started milling our own grain, and paid closer attention to where our food came from. What we learned changed how we think about food for good.

Through Timberroot, we’d already spent years creating places where people slow down and reconnect. Roasted Root brings those two passions together: real food and genuine hospitality.
